Competitions and Awards
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Foundation for the Advancement of Music is to:
1. encourage the composition and performance of music.
2. aid performing and creative artists.
3. promote musical education.
4. aid veterans in commencing and resuming musical careers.
5. grant scholarships to carry out the above.
JUNIOR DIVISION (through 18 years)
Donald Babcock Junior Composers' Awards:
1st State: $150, 2nd State: $125, 3rd State: $100
Class I&II: 1st: $50, 2nd: $30.
Class III&IV: 1st: $60, 2nd: $40.
